Tennessee lawmakers, in a special session that starts today, could consider a proposal that would ensure coverage for workers who suffer adverse side effects after receiving an employer-mandated vaccination against COVID-19.
House Bill 9001, by Rep. Scott Cepicky, Culleoka, would define vaccine side effects resulting from an employer-mandated immunization as a compensable workplace injury. The bill would apply to any side effect recognized by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
