The Oregon Workers' Compensation Board updated its rules governing the submission of cost bills.
Claimants who prevail against a denied claim can recover reasonable expenses and costs for records, expert opinions and witness fees from the insurer or self-insured employer. System users requested that the board consider amendments that would streamline and standardize the process of submitting bills to recover these costs.
