Supreme Court Unanimously Denies Benefits to Woman Who Fell at Work

The West Virginia Supreme Court upheld a determination that a worker was not entitled to benefits for her injuries from an on-the-job fall. Judith Baker worked for Wheeling Island Gaming Inc. She fell at work on Aug. 15, 2019. Baker sought treatment at Wheeling Hospital with back pain and injuries to her chin and bilateral wrists.
