Woman Accused of Cashing Deceased Husband's Checks

Detectives with the California Department of Insurance arrested a woman for allegedly cashing more than $500,000 in checks from her deceased husband’s workers’ compensation settlement.The Insurance Department said Rosa Maria Barajas, 68, was arrested on Thursday and charged with two felony counts of insurance fraud.
