Chiropractors Dominate Impairment Rating Assignments

A new report by the Nevada Workers' Compensation Section shows that chiropractors performed about 80% of the evaluations to determine the extent of injured workers' disabilities in 2024. Chiropractors received 5,056 of the 6,346 ratings that were randomly assigned to providers, 1,121 of the 1,868 assignments in which the parties mutually agreed on an evaluator and 19 of 31 assignments that were ordered by a court.
