WCIRB Submits Regulatory Filing

The Workers' Compensation Insurance Rating Bureau submitted its 2026 regulatory filing to the California insurance commissioner for review. Among other things, the WCIRB is proposing to raise the threshold for experience rating to $11,700 from $10,800 to reflect wage inflation. Additionally, the proposed expected loss rates use three decimal places instead of two in an effort to make them more precise.
