A Georgia lawmaker introduced a bill similar to legislation recently enacted in New York requiring warehouse employers to provide a written description of quotas and how they are measured and enforced.
Rep. Kim Schofield, D-Atlanta, introduced House Bill 16, which would require operators of warehouse distribution centers to provide their workers with a written description of quotas that explains how performance is measured, potential discipline for failing to meet a quota, and bonuses or incentives for meeting them.
