The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health has released a series of videos spotlighting safety issues related to the patient compartments of ambulances.
The release of the video series coincides with National Emergency Medical Services Week from May 21-27.
NIOSH researchers looked for ways to make safety improvements to seating, patient cots, equipment mounts, storage cabinets and the overall patient compartment body.
