The Workers’ Compensation Advisory Council is holding a virtual hearing Wednesday to vote on proposals for an agreed-upon bill for Wisconsin’s 2022 legislative session.
Members of the advisory council include five representatives from labor, five from insurers and three from employers. Among other things, the council drafts recommendations and negotiates for several months until members reach a consensus on an “agreed-to” bill that is sent to lawmakers.
The meeting to hear proposals for the agreed-upon bill is from 2-4 p.m. Wednesday.
