The federal court for the Central District of California accepted a guilty plea from an anesthesiologist accused of receiving nearly $800,000 in kickbacks to prescribe compound drugs and other pharmaceuticals as part of a scheme that allegedly bilked Medicare, Medicaid, private carriers and union health benefit plans out of more than $150 million.
