The office of the New York State Inspector General announced convictions in two schemes in which people were working while collecting benefits, including one man coaching high school soccer and another running a food truck.
Nicholas Gallagher, a former United Parcel Service overnight supervisor, was sentenced Tuesday to a conditional discharge with community service and ordered to pay full restitution of $13,402.
