Liberty Mutual Insurance has reported net income attributable to Liberty Mutual Holding Co. of $143 million, a 65% decrease from $411 million in the fourth quarter of 2015.
For the full year 2016, net income was $1.01 billion, a 96% increase from $514 million in 2015.
Net written premium for the fourth quarter was $8.62 billion, a 6.1% increase over the same period in 2015. For the 12 months that ended Dec. 31, net written premium was $35.7 billion, a 3.4% increase from full year 2015.
