DWC Seeks Comments on Designated Doctor Rules

The Texas Division of Workers’ Compensation is seeking comments on informally proposed amendments to rules for the designated doctor program. Among other things, the proposed rules would increase payments for some designated doctor services. The payment for determining maximum medical improvement would increase to $437.50 from $350 under the division’s proposal.
