CorVel Corp. has reported net income of $8.78 million for the second quarter, a 17% increase from $7.49 million in the second quarter of 2016.
Revenue for the quarter was $138 million, a 7% increase from $128 million in the prior-year quarter for the workers’ comp cost-containment company.
Revenue growth for the quarter was driven by an increase in CorVel’s claims management services, the company said. Network solutions, including pharmacy benefit management programs, also showed improved results.
