Old Republic International Corp. has reported second quarter net income of $102 million, an amount that is roughly unchanged from net income in the second quarter of 2016.
For the first half of the year, Old Republic’s net income was $215 million, down 4% from $224 million in the prior-year period.
In the general insurance division, net premiums earned were up 3.7% in the second quarter, to $770 million. The composite underwriting ratio was 100.1%, up from 97.8% in the prior-year quarter.
