The New York State Workers’ Compensation Board announced that it will stop accepting discs of video evidence and will require submissions on USB flash drives.
Video evidence can become part of the board’s file when a comp judge determines the evidence is probative and relevant. The two most common types of video evidence include evidence of activity in support of an allegation that a claimant made a misrepresentation of fact, and evidence of independent medical examinations.
