Freida D. Foster Named Chair of SWCB

New York Gov. Kathy Hochul on Tuesday appointed Freida D. Foster to serve as chair of the State Workers' Compensation Board. Foster has been a board member since 2009 and vice chair since 2016. At the same time, Hochul named Renee Delgado as vice chair. Foster has decades of experience in education, government service and public relations, the governor's office said in a statement.
