The owner of four janitorial companies was recently arraigned on charges of tax fraud and intentionally underreporting payroll to reduce workers’ compensation premiums, the California Department of Insurance announced.
Almirante Perez, 43, pleaded not guilty to all six counts in the felony complaint during the Oct. 22 arraignment.
