Commissioner Approves Experience Rating for COVID-19

Workers’ compensation claims for COVID-19 filed later this year will be included in experience rating calculations for California employers. Insurance Commissioner Ricardo Lara on Friday approved a Workers’ Compensation Insurance Rating Bureau regulatory filing that brings experience rating for COVID-19 claims to the Golden State.
