Worker Gets Award for Past Medical Expenses, Not Additional Treatment

The Utah Court of Appeals upheld a finding that a worker was entitled to an award of past medical expenses but not additional medical care. Theresa R. Giron worked for Black Diamond Equipment. She injured her back at work in April 2017. Giron sought treatment and was diagnosed with a lumbar strain. In August 2017, Giron underwent a magnetic resonance imaging scan.
