DWC Updates Ambulance Fee Schedule

The California Division of Workers’ Compensation posted an order adjusting the ambulance services section of the Official Medical Fee Schedule to conform to changes in the Medicare system. The order adopts from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services a calendar year 2023 ambulance fee schedule file and ZIP code files. Maximum reasonable fees for ambulance services provided on or after Jan. 1, 2023, shall not exceed 120% of the applicable California fees based on the adopted documents.
