DWC Announces Increase in Disability Rates

The California Division of Workers’ Compensation announced that the 2023 minimum and maximum temporary total disability rates will increase by more than 5%. The maximum TTD rate will increase to $1,619.15 per week from $1,539.71. The minimum TTD rate will increase to $242.86 per week from $230.95, the DWC said. Labor Code Section 4453(a)(10) requires that benefits be increased by an amount equal to the percentage increase in the state average weekly wage as compared to the prior year.
