The South Carolina Court of Appeals upheld an award of permanent partial disability benefits for a firefighter’s shoulder injury. Case: Contreras v. St. John’s Fire District Commission, No. 6052, 03/13/2024, published. Facts: Thomas Contreras worked as a firefighter for the St. John's Fire District Commission. He injured his right shoulder at work in October 2008.
