Comp Carriers Introduce New Predictors for Claim Outcomes

Two workers’ comp insurance carriers this week unveiled predictive tools that they say will provide information, which if acted upon, may lower claim costs. In Colorado, Pinnacol Assurance is now providing clients with a Health Risk Calculator, a tool that estimates the impact on claim costs of having an unhealthy workforce.
