The California Department of Insurance will hold a public hearing April 26 to consider the Workers’ Compensation Insurance Rating Bureau’s Sept. 1, 2022, regulatory filing.
The WCIRB is proposing amendments to the standard classification system, including wage and payroll limitations. The regulatory filing also includes a provision that would start including the cost of COVID-19 claims in employers’ experience rating.
