An Arizona appeals court said the time frame an administrative law judge used to calculate preinjury monthly wages for a nurse who was injured after returning to full-time employment did not reflect her actual earning capacity at the time of the injury.
Shelia Douglas was a nurse for Sunland Health Associates, which operated Montecito Post Acute Care and Rehabilitation in Mesa. She was injured on Dec. 17, 2021, when a patient kicked her in the head.
