A beauty salon operator was not entitled to workers' compensation immunity from civil claims by two employees allegedly suffering respiratory problems from chemical exposure, because it did not provide timely notice to its insurance carrier, and because the carrier's reasons for the denial of coverage were imputed to the employer, a divided Florida appeals court ruled.Case: Ocean Reef Club v.
