Surgical Removal of Lens Doesn't Entitle Worker to Award for Total Loss of Vision

An Ohio appellate court ruled that a worker was not entitled to an award for the total loss of vision in his right eye after the surgical removal of the lens. Case: State ex rel. Kreitzer v. Industrial Commission, No. 22AP-601, 01/30/2025, published. Facts and procedural history: Rodney Kreitzer worked for Henny Penny Corp. He suffered an injury to his right eye at work in December 1982.
