A handful of New York lawmakers said private carriers have compromised the State Workers' Compensation Board and requested that the governor suspend the executive director, pending the outcome of an investigation.
The five Assemblymembers also requested that the governor launch an investigation "into credible and increasingly concerning evidence that the integrity and proper functioning of the New York State Workers' Compensation Board have been compromised by private insurance entities, including Tradesman Program Manager, Roosevelt Road Re and Ionian Re."
