Southern California Applicants' Attorney Alan Wax Dies at 60

Alan Wax, a popular workers’ compensation attorney who co-headed a father-son firm in Southern California for more than 30 years, has died. He was 60 years old. Wax died Tuesday, according to his firm, Wax & Wax. Wax was a board-certified specialist in California workers' compensation law. He founded the Los Angeles Valley Applicants' Attorneys Association and served as its first president. Wax attended the University of California, Los Angeles and Glendale Law School.
