With health care reform is expected to be a hot topic for lawmakers in Sacramento in coming months, an occupational medicine group is proposing that workers’ compensation medical care be integrated with non-occupational care.
The proposal from the Western Occupational and Environmental Medicine Association, or WOEMA, is contained in a white paper the group released last week, titled “A Vision for a Healthy Workforce and Healthy Communities.”
