Roofing Contractor Fined $20K After Worker's Fatal Fall

The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration has cited a New Jersey roofing contractor after a worker died from a fall. Eastern Contractors LLC was cited April 23 for exposing employees to falls and other safety hazards at a worksite in Paterson. The contractor faces $19,890 in penalties.
