An Atlanta man pleaded guilty to committing fraud after he faked a doctor's note and told his employer that he was sick with COVID-19.
Santwon Antonio Davis, 35, told his employer in March that he had contracted the coronavirus and submitted a falsified medical letter to that effect, prosecutors said. The action caused the employer to close its facility, clean the premises, and pay four employees and Davis to quarantine at home, court records show.
