Employer Gets Summary Judgment Dismissing Claims of Discrimination, Retaliation

An Ohio appellate court upheld the dismissal of a discrimination and retaliation action against an employer for allegedly terminating an injured worker, her son and her boyfriend after she fell while running away from a bee on a cigarette break. Teresa Jones, Kevin Jones and Rob Lovejoy all worked for Natural Essentials Inc., a manufacturer and distributor of specialty consumer products.
