Post-Acute Care Planning Is Topic of Webinar

How to plan for an injured worker’s discharge from acute care will be the topic of a free, one-hour webinar on Thursday hosted by Optum Workers’ Comp. The webinar, which begins at 1 p.m. Eastern time, will be presented by Dr. Robert Hall, corporate medical director, and Lori Citron and Michelle Nack. The presenters will discuss issues to be considered when a claimant is released from acute care, such as home health care, rehabilitation services, and medical equipment and supplies.
