MEMIC Group Acquires South Dakota Firm

The MEMIC Group and parent company Main Employers' Mutual Insurance Co. announced the acquisition of the Dakota Group and four of its affiliated insurance companies. The Dakota Group is a provider of workers’ compensation insurance in the Upper Midwest and the largest writer in South Dakota.  The acquisition includes the purchase of OHARA LLC, TLC Advantage LLC and Precision Bill Review LLC, which provide cost-containment services to clients throughout the Midwest.
