Split Court Overturns Finding That Worker With Lymphedema Has Schedule Injury

A divided Arkansas Court of Appeals overturned a finding that a worker had suffered a schedule compensable injury when he developed lymphedema after he fell through a catwalk. Case: Corley v. Acme Brick, No. CV-21-239, 02/09/2022, published. Facts: Billy Corley worked for Acme Brick. He suffered injuries to his hip, leg, arm and shoulder when he fell through a catwalk at work in November 2018. The day after his fall, Corley went to the emergency room.
