The U.S. Department of Justice announced that a company that supplies ingredients for compound drugs agreed to pay $21.75 million to resolve allegations that it falsely inflated average wholesale prices.
The department said Medisca Inc. reported inflated average costs to price listing agencies to increase reimbursement its pharmacy customers received from federal agencies including the Office of Workers’ Compensation Programs.
