Fresno County prosecutors allege a suspect hired a hit man to kill the lawyer who successfully defended his attorney from malpractice allegations after the California Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board denied his claim for a back injury.
Antoian Griffin, 57, is being held in the Fresno County jail on $1 million bail after pleading not guilty to a single count of solicitation of murder at an arraignment Thursday. He is scheduled to appear in court today for a preliminary hearing.
