Employer Can Get Offset From Worker's PTD Award

The Supreme Court of Tennessee's Special Workers' Compensation Appeals Panel ruled that an assembly line worker was entitled to permanent total disability benefits for an on-the-job back injury, but that his employer was entitled to an offset of its liability to account for the benefits he had received through his employer-funded disability benefit plan.
