Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers signed a bill bringing workers' compensation judges back to the Department of Workforce Development.
The governor on Friday also vetoed a bill that would have excluded drivers for companies such as Uber and Lyft from the definition of employee, effectively denying them certain labor law protections, including minimum wage and workers' compensation coverage.
