Eligible IMR Applications Down 10.9% in 2019

The number of eligible applications for independent medical review was down 10.9% in 2019 compared to the previous year, the first decrease since IMR was rolled out in 2013, according to a report the California Division of Workers’ Compensation published Friday. The 165,610 eligible IMR applications submitted last year compare to 185,783 in 2018.
