A federal grand jury in Kentucky indicted a former postal carrier for allegedly double-dipping and receiving workers’ compensation benefits while also working for a family rental business.
Jessica S. Deaton was indicted Thursday on charges of wire fraud and making false statements to obtain federal work comp benefits.
Deaton started working for the U.S. Postal Service as a rural carrier in March 2007, according to the indictment filed in the U.S. District Court for Eastern Kentucky. She said she was injured through the course of her employment in April 2010 and could no longer work.&nb...
