Division Updates Forms to Change Outdated Language

The Texas Division of Workers’ Compensation gave notice Thursday that it has revised 10 English- and Spanish-language forms to implement legislation passed earlier this year. The changes were made necessary by House Bill 2111, a housekeeping measure that struck the term “hearing officer” from state law and replaced the term with “administrative law judge.” In response, the DWC revised language in: DWC Form-024, Benefit Dispute Agreement.
