Maximum, Minimum Compensation Rates Increasing July 1

The Virginia Workers’ Compensation Commission announced that maximum and minimum compensation rates will increase, effective July 1. The maximum compensation rate will be $1,463.10, up from the 2024 rate of $1,410. The minimum compensation rate will be $365.78, up from $352.50. The commission also announced that the cost-of-living adjustment rate will decrease to 2.85% on Oct. 1 from the current COLA rate of 3.35%. More information, including historical rates, is here. ...
