Draft Bill Would Exempt MSF From Laws Pertaining to Government Agencies

Montana State Fund would be exempted from certain laws that apply to government agencies, according to a bill being drafted for the 2021 legislative session. The measure, currently identified as Legislative Concept 0482, would exempt the state-chartered carrier from the Montana Information Technology Act. The law that went into effect in July 2001 establishes guidelines for ensuring consistency among computer systems used by different state agencies.
