Montana State Fund would be exempted from certain laws that apply to government agencies, according to a bill being drafted for the 2021 legislative session.
The measure, currently identified as Legislative Concept 0482, would exempt the state-chartered carrier from the Montana Information Technology Act. The law that went into effect in July 2001 establishes guidelines for ensuring consistency among computer systems used by different state agencies.
The draft bill would also exempt MSF from the Montana Procurement Act.
