A national mail order pharmacy dedicated to filling workers' compensation prescriptions says the Massachusetts attorney general and recent interpretations of a federal Drug Enforcement Administration database have gotten it all wrong.
Injured Workers Pharmacy, based in Andover, Massachusetts, ships pain medications to all 50 states, so naturally the firm's opioid numbers would appear to be higher than local pharmacies in the state, an attorney for the company said last week.
