Hall County, Georgia, officials expect the county to save thousands in workers’ compensation costs by filling all prescriptions related to comp claims through a county pharmacy, according to a report in the Gainesville Times.
The HCG Family Health Center serves employees, retirees and their dependents who are covered by government health insurance. The pharmacy will fill all prescriptions related to workers’ compensation claims beginning on April 1, a move that’s expected to save the county an estimated $18,000.
