Workers' compensation insurer Amerisafe Inc. announced a new investor this week.
Marco Investment Management LLC bought 3,350 shares of the company's stock, valued at about $205,000, Amerisafe said.
Hedge funds and other institutional investors own approximately 96% of Amerisafe's stock.
Shares of Amerisafe were trading for $54.95 on Monday, up 0.18%.
