The Texas Department of Insurance on Thursday announced the adoption of amendments to the National Council on Compensation Insurance Basic Manual for Workers’ Compensation and Employers’ Liability Insurance.
“This filing eliminates the national manual with state exceptions and replaces it with a complete Texas Basic Manual that has all the rules and classification codes in one place,” the department said in a statement. “NCCI is creating stand-alone manuals for every NCCI state.”
